Sea Glass Jewelry

Living by the beach in North Carolina inspired me to design a line of jewelry using the “jewels of the sea.” Some people call it “beach glass” or “mermaid’s tears”  but I call it “sea glass.”   Found on area beaches the glass is discarded glass shards that have tumbled around in the sand and waves of the ocean for years before being picked up on the beach.  Each piece of glass I find is recycled and made into something beautiful to wear. I either bezel set it in sterling silver or wire wrap it and adorn my jewelry with freshwater pearls and Swarovski crystals. 

Sea glass is very collectible and certain colors are rarer to own than others. So owning a genuine piece of sea glass jewelry is a “real treasure find!”
